Bollywood actor Imran Khan's estranged wife Avantika Malik's dance videos are a hit on social media. For Avantika, “dance is therapy.” Recently, she uploaded a clip from her freestyle dance session on Instagram. In the video, Avantika is seen dancing with utmost ease. It was choreographed by her trainer Arunima Dey. Avantika Malik, in the elaborate note, said that she has “come a long way” and she “is having fun.” Her note read, “I have come a long way baby hahaha. I can't believe I am being able to be free enough to dance like that or be ballsy enough to post the video without cringing and being deeply embarrassed. It's been a journey to get to screw it. I am having fun and better than average haha. It's good enough. Also sheer joy on not forgetting the brilliant choreography by Arunima Dey. #danceistherapy.”
Imran Khan and Avantika Malik got married in 2011. They are parents to a baby girl. Reportedly, the two parted ways in 2019. Both Imran and Avantika have never spoken about their separation in public.
As per Avantika Malik, “guruji” Arunima Dey's choreography is “brilliant, inspiring, (and) motivating.”
Here is another video of Avantika Malik grooving to Jaadu Hai Nasha from Bipasha Basu and John Abrahm's film Jism.
Sharing another amazing dance video from her happy album, Avantika Malik said, “Danced with guru ji Arunima Dey today…Love love love. Also, can you tell how hard I am concentrating to try and remember the steps…It was tough. Also this song — tu aur kisi ka na hona mein jeete ji mar jaungi… hai!!” The song Sajna ve Sajna is from Kareena Kapoor's 2003 film Chameli
There was no chance we could have missed Avantika Malik's solo performance.
Avantika Malik has also opened up about how dancing has been a “beautiful comfort” and “solace” for her on not-so-good days. Here, she performed a solo freestyle choreography on the song Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa from the 2003 release Waisa Bhi Hota Hai-II. In a long note, attached to the video, Avantika wrote, “Okay full disclosure, today has not been a good day. Spent most of last night bawling my eyes out, a bit this morning too. Some days the dam effing breaks. So then there were swollen eyes, and copious amounts of blue eyeliner to hide said swollen eyes. But then there was also this… there was solace, there was comfort and for today I am holding on to this solace. Tomorrow will be a better day. Thank you Arunima Dey for this beautiful comfort. Just sublime.”
Meanwhile, Imran Khan has been away from the public eye after his last box office offering, Katti Batti. Released in 2015, the film also featured Kangana Ranaut.
