For Baahubali, Tamannaah Had to Put on Weight. And Here's Why

For Baahubali, Tamannaah Had to Put on Weight. And Here's Why
Tamannaah Bhatia will soon be seen in Baahubali
Mumbai: Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has shot down reports suggesting that she lost weight for her intense fighting scenes in the S S Rajamouli-directed Baahubali, instead she gained weight for the film.

"Numerous people have a misunderstanding that I lost weight for Baahubali. But actually I had to put on weight for the film as I'm working with an actor who is six feet, three inches tall. And I was looking a bit too small in front of him and I was supposed to look like a warrior, which is the role I'm playing," Tamannaah said at an event where she was present to launch her yoga teacher's book.

The 25-year-old actress feels that 'feeling healthy and fit' is more important than becoming 'size zero' for the sake of gaining publicity.

Baahubali, whose Hindi version is presented by Karan Johar, also stars Prabhas Raju, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Baahubali will hit the silver screens on July 10.
