Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma said that the transition from being a serious theatre artist to a comedian happened accidentally.
"I think I came into comedy accidentally. I was a serious theatre artist," said Kapil.
Kapil will make his debut in Bollywood with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which has been directed by Abbas-Mustan. He also had a theatre group earlier.(Also Read: Kapil Sharma: Not Nervous About Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon)
"I have done serious theatre (work) for 10 to 12 years. I have done it in Delhi and also in Amritsar. I even had a theatre group," added Kapil.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon also features Arbaaz Khan, Elli Avram, Varun Sharma and Manjari Phadnis.
The film is scheduled to release on September 25.
