Jackky posted a video on Twitter
Mumbai:
After a major goof-up of misspelling Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai's name as 'Masala' in a tweet last year, actor Jackky Bhagnani has come up with a video to wish the Pakistani activist on her birthday.
Jackky shared the link to the video on Twitter on July 10, two days before her birthday:
Delighted with the response to his video, Jackky tweeted on Saturday:
Malala, who will turn 18 on July 12, was shot by a Taliban gunman in 2012. She won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize along with Indian children's rights activist Kailash Satyarthi.
In the video, titled Ye Malala Ke Baare Mein Hai, Masala Ke Baare Mein Nahi!, the Youngistaan star accepts his mistake and explains the difference between the words "nobel" and "noble" to a group of children.
Later he wishes her a 'Happy Birthday' and highlights her contribution towards children's education rights and her struggle for education.
The day when Malala was presented with the Nobel Peace Prize, Jackky had tweeted, "Such good news to hear about masala and the noble peace price. My speech in #Youngistaan was inspired by her."

2 days before she turns 18, my tribute that 'spells' out why we need more brave hearts like Malala! (Sans typos!) http://t.co/f4FUpk8CPL
