Singer and actor Olivia Newton-John, who was best known for her performance in the musical Grease, died at the age of 73 on Monday. Bollywood as well as Hollywood stars paid tribute to the late actress. "Rest in peace Olivia Newton-John. Your legacy will shine on," wrote Priyanka Chopra on her Instagram story. Kareena Kapoor, posting a still of Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta from Grease, wrote: "Goodbye ONJ. Thank you for the songs." Oprah Winfrey, singers Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue also remembered the late actress-singer. Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman also posted tributes for Olivia Newton-John on social media.

We ask that everyone please respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time. Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer."
Olivia Newton-John had announced in May 2017 that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi.
