Actor Ashton Kutcher has become the latest victim of a cyber-scam after falling prey to scammers Luis Flores and Kyah Green.
Socialites Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian also became the victims of a cyber scam in the recent past.
According to a document received on May 30, American Express received two calls about Kutcher's account. In the first, the caller claimed to be the Hollywood star himself, with the impostor providing his personal information as well as answers to his security questions to gain access to the account, reports radaronline.com.
The caller then requested that the primary account phone number be changed to Flores' number. They also requested that an emergency replacement card be sent to an address in Oak Park, Illinois.
The method was nearly identical to that used to scam more than $70,000 out of Kris Jenner.
The duo is yet to be arraigned on charges of wire fraud.
