Freida Pinto's latest Instagram post calls for congratulations. The Slumdog Millionaire actress announced her pregnancy on social media on Monday night. Sharing a set of mushy pictures with fiancé Cory Tran, she wrote: "Baby Tran, coming this Fall!" We also got a glimpse of her baby bump in the pictures. Freida's Instafam and friends flooded the comments section of her post with congratulatory messages. Mrunal Thakur wrote: "Oh my god. Freidaaaaaaaaa and Cory congratulations ! You guys." In a separate comment, she wrote: "I'm literally screaming and dancing." Nora Fatehi, who shared the couch with Freida on Karan Johar's talk show Koffee With Karan, wrote: "OMG Congrats."

The actress got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Cory Tran, an adventure photographer, in November 2019. "You my love are just the most beautiful creation to have ever walked into my life. And you are here to stay. Well, I am making you stay... All my love with all my heart... Oh and happiest birthday, sweet fiancé," she wrote in a post announcing her engagement.

Earlier, Freida Pinto dated actor Dev Patel, her co-star of the Danny Boyle-directed film Slumdog Millionaire, which received multiple Academy Awards. The couple broke up after dating for about six years.

Freida Pinto has featured in films like Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, Immortals, Trishna, Love Sonia and the Netflix movie Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle. She also starred in Love, Wedding, Repeat and Hillbilly Elegy. Her upcoming films include Needle In A Timestack and Mr Malcolm's List.
