Slumdog Millionaire star FreidaPinto said that she was smitten by her own beauty earlier inlife but now doesn't think too much about her good looks.
The Mumbai-born actress, who has been dating herco-star Dev Patel since 2008, was once big-headed about herbeauty and used to take compliments too seriously,Contactmusic reported.
"When I was small, a lot of people would say I was acute chubby little baby, with light blue eyes, and my mum saidinitially I let it go to my head. But by the time I reachedcollege, I kind of toned it down. It's like a growing-upexperience," she said.
The 26-year-old star would now prefer people praisingher acting skills rather than the way she looks.
"I don't like that, to be honest. Every time someonetells me, 'You look so beautiful in the film', I don't care!Just tell me if the performance was good. To be honest I stilllove shopping at H&M and Topshop, because if you really wantto be stylish you should be able to mix and match differentclothes, put them on yourself and still end up looking like amillion bucks," said Pinto.
