Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadha's Fukrey Returns emerges a 'super hit' tweets trade analyst Taran Adarsh. A sequel to 2013's super hit film, Fukrey Returns had a blockbuster start on its opening day and currently stands at Rs. 66.11 crore at the box office. Earlier Taran Adarsh tweeted that Fukrey Returns witnessed 'massive growth' and is expected to score 'big numbers.' Here's what he tweeted about the film today: "Fukrey Returns has a FANTASTIC Weekend 2... Emerges a SUPER-HIT... [Week 2] Fri 3.31 cr, Sat 5.15 cr, Sun 7.10 cr. Total: 66.11 cr. India biz (sic)." On the box office report card, Fukrey Returns has crossed the 65 crore mark and counting.
In previous predations, Mr Adarsh had said Fukrey Returns will indeed have an "interrupted" run at the box office till Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger Zinda Hai hits screens on December 22.
In his review for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee writes: "Between these weird dreams and risky misadventures, the Fukrey boys of east Delhi are pushed to the wall by the feisty Bholi Punjaban, the reigning queen of the Trans-Yamuna underworld. They are once again engaged in hatching get rich quick plans and flirting with danger, but nothing that they do can whip up the sense of edgy urgency of the past."
Fukrey Returns marks not just the return of the fukrey boys Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Ali Fazal but also sees Richa Chadha reprise her role as Bholi Punjaban.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey Returns is definitely a 'super hit.'
