A Lady Gaga concert wasmarred by drama as a fan in the audience suffered a cardiacarrest during the show.
Crystal Thornton, 33, and her best friend, ChristinaTugman, headed to Gaga's Monster Ball concert in Nashville,Tennessee on Tuesday.
But during the show's opening act at the city'sBridgestone Arena, Thornton suffered a seizure and her heartstopped beating, CNN reported.
"She stopped breathing, her eyes rolled back in herhead, and her body started twitching. I was asking if she wasOK, and she wasn't responding," Tugman said.
Paramedics rushed to resuscitate Thornton after shecollapsed. Her heart was restarted using a portabledefibrillator and she was subsequently airlifted to hospital.
By Friday afternoon, Thornton was said to be in stablecondition. Her health scare was cause by an undetectablegenetic condition.
While Thornton is thankful to be alive, she isdisappointed about missing out on the Monster Ball. "I am somad I missed the concert," she said.
