A still from the teaser trailer of Game Of Thrones
New Delhi:
The first trailer of Game Of Thrones Season 6, which released on Thursday night, is a whirlwind of flashbacks and a montage of traumatic events of the previous seasons featuring White Walkers, dragons, a magical Bran, dead characters including Ned and Catelyn Stark, Sansa and Rob and ofcourse, the show's steely-eyed hero, Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington. "We watch, we listen, and we remember," says Max von Sydow, the new voice of the three-eyed raven, as he counsels Isaac Hempstead Wright's Bran Stark while he travels north of the Wall. "The past is already written. The ink is dry," he concludes. Yet, there is a promise of the return of the Commander of the Night's Watch (Jon Snow), who died in the last season of the show. The series has already teased his possible return by featuring him on the first poster from the new season. However, his fate is still kept uncertain since the trailer ends with shots of him bleeding.
A series of flashbacks show Jon Snow's assassination, Ned Stark being beheaded, Rob and Catelyn Stark's deaths, Arya going blind and Prince Joffrey being poisoned. Bran says, "They have no idea what's going to happen."
The Sixth season of Game of Thrones is expected to premiere in April 2016.
