It takes less than a minute for anybody interacting with actor Ganesh Venkatraman to realise that he is kicked about his next film Pani Thulli.
Ganesh said,"Pani Thulli is my first film as a solo hero and I am very sure that this film will start a new trend in Tamil cinema. It is a love story told in James Bond style - something that hasn't been tried out in Tamil cinema before."
The actor seems to be so confident about his film's success at the box office, that one is even tempted for a second to wonder if he is being a little overconfident.
However, looking at our surprised faces, he offers to show us the trailer of the film. A minute after watching the trailer, his confidence seems justified.
Full of spellbinding visuals shot at scenic locations all over the US, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and San Jose, the film promises to be a visual treat with an interesting plot.
"The film, directed by Natty Kumar, has been shot by two cameramen - C J Rajkumar and Chris Eldridge, the latter being a US professional," informed Ganesh, who goes on to point out that his co-stars are both debutantes.
"There are two heroines Shobana and Kalpana in this film and both are making their debut with Pani Thuli," he added.
When asked about what made him pick up this script and he said,"By working with big stars like Kamal sir, Big B, Nagarjuna sir and Mohanlal sir, I got to understand their approach to life and learnt a lot from them. I realised that I was ready for my first solo hero project. I was waiting for a good script and that is when Natty narrated this story."
