Rishab Shetty's Kantara continues to garner praise from critics, actors and filmmakers. The latest one to join the list is superstar Rajinikanth. Blown away by the extraordinary experience offered by Kantara, Rajinikanth gave a big shout-out to Rishab and his team for creating “this masterpiece in Indian cinema.” Kantara, directed by Rishab, also stars him in the lead role. In a tweet, Rajinikanth wrote, “The unknown is more than the known,' no one could have said this better in cinema than Hombale Films. Kantara, you gave me goosebumps. Rishab Shetty, hats off to you as a writer, director and actor. Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in Indian cinema.”
Rajinikanth's appreciation for his work in Kantara was like a “dream come true” for Rishab Shetty. Re-tweeting the veteran actor's review, the director-actor wrote, “Dear Rajinikanth sir, you are biggest superstar in India and I have been your fan since childhood. Your appreciation is my dream come true. You inspire me to do more local stories and inspire our audiences everywhere. Thank you, sir.” Rishab Shetty also added a folded hands and heart icon.
