Actress Genelia D'Souza has reassured her followers on Twitter that she is safe after tweeting about being in the neighbourhood of the bomb that went off in Bangkok last night. 'We are fine,' says Genelia in her tweet:
Last night, she tweeted this, as reports came in of a bomb blast near a Hindu temple surrounded by hotels and malls:
Genelia's actor husband Riteish Deshmukh was with her and Instagrammed a few seconds of video footage of an ambulance racing down the street where the blast happened.
This morning, Riteish tweeted:
Genelia, 28, was in Bangkok filming an advertisement.
The blast left 21 dead and about a 100 injured, most of them tourists. Thailand's junta leader has said that security forces have identified a suspect.

My thoughts go out to the people affected by last night's cowardly attack. Taking innocent lives is no way to protest or make a point.
