Hollywood star Gerard Butler is reportedly in rehab following substance abuse problems.
The 42-year-old actor decided to seek help after realising that he was relying too heavily on prescription painrelief medicines, the TMZ reported.
Butler decided to enter Betty Ford Center three weeks ago to seek help for his problems.
The actor's problems began when he started suffering from severe pain following the shooting of physically demandingaction movie 300 in 2006.
His surfing accident this December during the Of Men and Mavericks shooting aggravated the problem.
The website quoted sources telling that the actor also had issues with cocaine but the current problem is related tohis pain management issues.
