Hollywood heartthrob Gerard Butler says that fame has ruined his love life as he has become paranoid about potential partners going public with details about his bedroom antics.
The 'Ugly Truth' star says that he has become a lot more cautious as he does not want the details of his liaisons becoming public, reported Contactmusic.
"I get laid less now than I used to, because I'm way more paranoid now. I'm nowhere near as naughty as I used to be, partly because I did a lot of that when I was drinking," said the Scottish hunk.
The 41-year-old star says that he is still single because he disregards the expected romantic etiquette followed by the opposite sex.
"I would want a woman to call me if I hadn't called her. If I don't call it's because I'm busy. But this is why I'm single," said the 'Bounty Hunter' star.
But the Scottish hunk added that he enjoys the chase more than the conquest.
"But there is also the element that the second you think a girl is maybe not quite as keen, there is a little more interest in the situation. Sometimes, when it's there right in front of you, it's not as interesting," said the actor.
