Scottish actor Gerard Butlerreportedly increased his security team at the Toronto FilmFestival after receiving death threats.
The 41-year-old is receiving the threats for his role incontroversial movie Machine Gun Preacher, a true-life storybased on a Hells Angel who rescues orphans in Muslim-dominantSudan after converting to Christianity, reported Contactmusic.
"It is quite a controversial subject and some people areupset by the strong religious theme. We are treating thismatter seriously," a source said.
