Looks like Kareena Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are the new gym buddies in B-town. No, this isn't gossip. We have proof too. It all started when Anushka called out the athleisure brand Puma for using her pictures without her permission. Then the company approached her to be their brand ambassador and lastly, Anushka announced her latest collaboration with the brand. On Tuesday, Anushka shared a few pictures of herself from a photo shoot for Puma. “Well, that's just how it's done #ForeverFaster,” she wrote along with a smiley, a fist bump and a cat emoji. Within a few hours, Kareena Kapoor, who is also a part of the brand, welcomed Anushka Sharma to the “Puma Family'' with a quirky post. Kareena reshared the photo and captioned it, “Gym class today…Together Anushka Sharma? Welcome to the #PumaFam!” ( In Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kareena's character Poo says gym class today).
Kareena Kapoor's reaction prompted a fun Instagram exchange between the two. Anushka Sharma reposted Kareena's Instagram Stories and wrote, “Thank you, Kareena Kapoor. We should be the founding members of the cat crew. By invite only…” and added a cat emoji, for the brand's logo. Kareena Kapoor did not take long to reply to Anushka Sharma's suggestion. The Omkara actress shared a “girl power” GIF.

Anushka Sharma's journey to becoming a Puma brand ambassador started this week only, as per the updates shared by her on Instagram. First, the actress slammed the brand in a now-disappeared Instagram Stories for using her photograph without permission. “Hey Puma India, I am sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I am not your brand ambassador. Please take it down,” she wrote for this post.
Then, the actress posted a video where she can be seen “considering Puma India's proposal." At one point, Anushka Sharma hilariously refers to her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, and says, “It's like being stuck at the same job as Virat.” The cricketer is also one of the brand ambassadors of Puma.
At last, Anushka Sharma announced her collaboration with the athleisure brand. The actress also shared a few pictures of herself “sealing the deal.”
Not just Kareena Kapoor but Virat Kohli also welcomed Anushka Sharma to the Puma family. “Thank you for welcoming me to the Puma family, my family,” she replied.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in a biopic on cricketer Jhulan Goswami, titled Chakda ‘Xpress.
