Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar took to social media on Thursday to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. On Twitter she wrote: "Wishing you many happy returns of the day. May god bless you":

In response to her wish, Modi thanked the singer and expressed his gratitude for receiving the veteran singer's blessings for many years. This is what he tweeted:
