Actor Michael Keaton has won the Golden Globe for best actor in a musical or comedy for Birdman.
Mr Keaton, in a career-topping performance, plays an aging movie actor trying to exercise his superhero past - and jumpstart his fading career - by putting on a serious Broadway play.
The other nominees in the same category were: Ralph Fiennes, The Grand Budapest Hotel; Bill Murray, St. Vincent; Joaquin Phoenix, Inherent Vice; and Christoph Waltz, Big Eyes.(Golden Globes 2015: List of Winners)
