Praising West Bengal's love for art and appreciation of artists, Bollywood superstar Govinda said he would love to "stay connected" with the state and its people.
"People here are so appreciative of art and culture. They give due respect to the artists. I will try to strengthen my connection with the city and its culture," said the actor.

"My connection with Kolkata goes back a long way. I had done a Bengali film called Mastaan many years ago. If I get a chance, then I will surely do another," said Govinda while launching a host of low-budget mobile phones and tablets by the Prayag Group, at the Kenilworth Hotel here.
Best known for his roles in the superhit movies Coolie No.1 and Hero No.1, he is set to foray into production.
"My next film Avatar slated to release in 2013 will be the first from my own production house," revealed the actor.
