Here is yet another TV actress who is all set to make the leap to the big screen. After watching her in her TV soaps, filmmaker Anil Sharma has offered Ragini Khanna, who is niece of actor Govinda, a meaty role in his upcoming project Singh Sahab the Great.
"She is a fine actress and has got a very pretty face. I was also looking for someone who can pull off a strong character. She fitted the bill perfectly," said the director.
The filmmaker stated that Ragini's role is not a cameo and the actress will play a significant part in the film.
He added: "There is a sub-track between the brother and the sister. They will be showcased as sharing a very strong emotional bond."
Ragini is likely to begin shooting for the film by December in Indore and the cast and crew will then move to Bhopal.
