Beyonce and Jay-Z performed to their song Drunk In Love.

The Grammy Awards this year opened with a sizzling his-and-hers performance by superstar couple Beyonce and Jay-Z who treated a cheering crowd to the first live rendition of their song Drunk In Love.
Mr and Mrs Carter, nominated for their song collaboration Part II (On The Run), began the performance with Beyonce sitting in a chair. When Jay-Z came out for his part, the couple held hands and slow-danced. For Beyonce, famously criticized for lip-syncing the American National Anthem at the Super Bowl, it was the performance of performances.

Both Beyonce and Jay-Z have previously collaborated with other performers at the Grammys. Beyonce sang Proud Mary with Tina Turner in 2008 and Jay-Z has sung with Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney and Coldplay on separate occasions. However, this is the first time that husband and wife have joined forces at the Grammys.
Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake won Best Rap/Song Collaboration for Holy Grail which is also nominated for Best Rap Song. Jay-Z was also up fr Best Rap Album for Magna Carta... Holy Grail, losing to Kanye West's Yeezus.
