American singer Doja Cat nearly missed her first-ever Grammy award as she was seen running on stage after a quick toilet break. She was given the award along with SZA for their hit single "Kiss Me More".
After presenter Avril Lavigne announced the duo's win on Sunday night, the camera cut to SZA, who was seen slowly making her way to the stage due to an injury she sustained a day before. Lady Gaga was seen helping SZA.
But the cameras couldn't spot Doja Cat. She had dipped out of the gala for a bathroom break.
Moments later, she was seen rushing through the crowd - a member of her team carrying the train of her dress - to reach on the stage.

"Bro, you went to the bathroom for five minutes. Are you serious? Come on now," SZA quipped.
"Listen. I have never taken such a fast (piss) in my whole life. Thank you everybody," Doja Cat, out of breath, replied, as the crowd cheered.
“I really appreciate it. Thank you to everybody, my family, my team, I wouldn't be here without them, I wouldn't be here without my fans. And you know what? SZA, you are everything to me,” she further said in her acceptance speech.
The timing of the Grammys just one week after Will Smith stunned the world by slapping Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars added an extra layer of unpredictability to what is already usually one of the edgier nights on the showbiz awards circuit.
That fiasco prompted some gentle zings over the course of the night Sunday, but antics were virtually non-existent at what ultimately proved to be a heavily scripted show.
