Filmmaker Subhash Kapoor's comic film Guddu Rangeela, starring Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh, has collected over Rs 3 crore in two days.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:
The film, which released on Friday, collected Rs 1. 51 crore on its opening day and jumped by 30 percent on the second day after minting Rs 1.96 crore at the box office.
The plot revolves around round two bumbling criminals, played by Arshad and Amit, who run an orchestra party. They take on a villain (Ronit Roy) way stronger than themselves which lands them in a soup.
Produced by Mangal Murti Films, the film, which also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, is being marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
