New Delhi:
Actor Gurmeet Choudhary said that he owes his career to television.
The actor has featured in several television shows such as Ramayan, Geet and Punar Vivah.
This year Gurmeet featured in Karan Darra's Khamoshiyan co-starring Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi.
However, Gurmeet said that he owes his career to television."My effort is to do both films and television work. It will be very wrong on my part to say that I don't want to do TV. I owe my career to TV," Gurmeet told PTI.
"It is because of those shows that today I am getting film offers and other projects. I am lucky that I have been loved by fans in every medium," added Gurmeet.
Gurmeet also said that the foundation must be strong.
"I believe that sudden fame is not good. The foundation has to be strong and it will take me far in my career. I want a steady success. I don't want to vanish from the scene. I think I got a good launch and I benefited a lot from the film as people have appreciated my work," he added.
