New Delhi:
Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce Knowles shared recipes for Thanksgiving.
The Iron Man actress and Crazy In Love hitmaker's families celebrated the special day together last year but as they were unable to get together for the holiday last Thursday (November 22, 2012), they instead gave each other tips on what to cook.
Beyonce, 31, sent her friend Gwyneth, 40, cajun recipes from her mother Tina Knowles, while she used the actress' cooking tips when preparing a traditional meal of turkey with bread stuffing and caramelised Brussels sprouts for her husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy, 10 months.
Following their festive feast, the Run the World (Girls) star used her tumblr page to send a Thanksgiving message to her fans.
Alongside new pictures of herself, her spouse and their daughter, she wrote: "From my family to yours. Wishing you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving."
Meanwhile, Gwyneth - who has children Apple, eight, and Moses, six, with husband Chris Martin - advised her fans on gift buying for the festive season in her weekly Goop newsletter.
She wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving! It's officially the holiday season, and with that in mind, it's time to get on top of our shopping lists. Don't get hung up on the idea that your gift has to be expensive to be memorable: Fold 1,000 paper cranes for a friend who needs a wish, or give a brooch from your collection to someone who's admired it."
