London: Representatives of Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed that the Oscar winning actress is still keen to launch her musical career and is on the look-out for a record deal, despite failed talks with Atlantic Records.
The 38-year-old actress, who wants to launch her debut album as a singer, was reportedly faced with hurdles when her deal with music label Atlantic was reportedly scrapped, reported Daily Star online.
The 'Shakespeare in Love' star, who played the role of a washed-up singer in the film 'Country Strong', had earlier made appearance in TV musical 'Glee', besides giving live performance at the Oscars and the Grammys.
The reason for the snapped deal was a disagreement over money, where Paltrow had reportedly demanded a USD 1 million pay cheque.
However, Paltrow's spokesperson is adamant the actress is still "considering" signing a deal.
