London:
Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow says she still talks to her father Bruce ten years after his death.
Paltrow's film-producer father died from cancer and pneumonia while they were on holiday in Rome for her 30th birthday and the 39-year-old actress said she talks to him through his wedding ring when she needs him, Contactmusic reported.
"I always hold on to his wedding ring. I ask it questions, I feel like it keeps me safe. I really sense theenergy of his soul, I don't think that evaporates. I feel my dad, I still feel his love, I still speak to him and I still love him," she said.
Paltrow met her Coldplay-frontman husband Chris Martin a few weeks after his death, she feels connected to him still through his wedding band.
"Half the reason my life is good and has real, true value is that he died. I'd obviously rather have him alive, but he gave me so much in his death. I don't know if I will see him again. He never got to see his grandchildren."
