Hailstorms may force Neil, Richa's film out of Mussoorie

Hailstorms may force Neil, Richa's film out of Mussoorie
The crew will now have to recreate Mussoorie in Manali.
Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh and his co-star Richa Chadha have the weather Gods to blame for their film shoot having to shift from Mussoorie to Manali.

Apparently sudden hailstorm in the area has forced the entire unit to flee. While the two actors have returned to Mumbai, the makers are now scouting for a new location for the shoot in the Himachal.

Sources close to the production state: "Debutant director Prerna Wadhawan had earlier decided to shoot the whole film at the beautiful locales of the hill station. After a month of shoot, the weather has become very cold and the constant hailstorms have completely halted the shoot. But the film is pretty much on track."

Another informer from the sets said: "Since it is winter now in the North, the days are also very short and there is not much daylight worsening the conditions further. As a result, the production team is scouting for similar locations at other hill stations like Manali to resume the shoot. Hopefully, we'll be back to work very soon."

Prerna said: "We will most probably recreate the locations at Manali now. The crew is looking out for similar landscapes and we should leave for our next schedule as soon as we get the appropriate location."
