The film's director Mohit Suri, who shared the trailer on Twitter, called it his 'tribute to unrequited love.'
In the trailer, Vidya seems torn between her abusive and possessive husband, played by Rajkummar Rao and her lover, played by Emraan Hashmi, who wants to put an end to her misery by beginning a new life with her. Rajkummar Rao seems determined never to let that happen.
