Newlyweds Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar have been one busy couple. Soon after their wedding in June, this year, the actress and director went back to their respective projects as work beckoned. Now, it looks like the two have finally found some time for themselves and travel seems to be on the agenda. So, where did they head? To seek blessings at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The lovely pair shared pictures from the shrine on Instagram on Friday. Dressed in their traditional best, the two are glowing in the warmth of matrimonial bliss in the photos. For the caption box, Yami Gautam wrote Ik Onkar in Gurmukhi, referring to the sacred chant of Sikhism.

The news of the wedding had come as a surprise to the fans of the actress and director. It was announced by Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar with a photo from the ceremony and a note on Instagram. Sharing the picture, the couple quoted Rumi and wrote, "'In your light, I learn to love - Rumi'."
The wedding was an intimate affair in Yami Gautam's hometown in Himachal Pradesh with only immediate members of the two families in attendance. Sharing details, the couple explained, "With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family."
