Life is a constant struggle and there may not be one particular Happy Ending eventually, which is exactly what actor Saif Ali Khan's next film reinstigates.
The trailer which came out October 9 gives the impression that the movie will be an interesting mix of humour, matter-of-factly wit, a double dose of cynically funny Saif and a hilariously effeminate Govinda who seems to be obsessed with plastic surgery.
The story revolves around a successful a author Yudi (played by Saif), whose Happy Ending turns into a sad one when he is no more a bestselling author. Out looking for work which can help him get by in life, Yudi meets an enterprising Govinda, who hires Yudi to pen a typical masala Bollywood film script.
Actress Ileana D'cruz looks pleasant in the trailer and it seems like her comic timing and expressions have been worked on. But her character's essence mimics the one from her last film Main Tera Hero, which is perhaps what viewers may have to excuse.
Actresses Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta will be seen in special appearances in the film. It is However, the presence of 'Yogi', Saif's alter ego/look-alike that is the most intriguing.
A whiff of two songs, Dil Se Nacho and Pussy Cat, composed by duo Sachin-Jigar seem promising. Made under the Illuminati banner, owned by Saif, is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and is set to release on November 21. Watch:
