Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi continues to be "steady" at the box office and has earned Rs 15.54 crore, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. On day 5 (Tuesday), Sonakshi Sinha's film has raked in Rs 1.71 crore. The film started on a low note but eventually picked pace over the weekend. On Monday (Day 4), Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi collected Rs 2.05 crore. Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, which is the sequel of 2016 film Happy Bhag Jayegi, is also expected to cross the week one collection of the first installment. "Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is steady on weekdays. Will easily cross week one business of the first part (Rs 17.65 crore).Will it cross lifetime business of the first part, is to be seen. Friday Rs 2.70 crore, Saturday Rs 4.03 crore, Sunday Rs 5.05 crore, Monday Rs 2.05 crore, Tuesday Rs 1.71 crore. Total: Rs 15.54 crore (India business)," Taran Adarsh wrote.
According to Box Office India report, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is doing a "decent" business on weekdays and is now eyeing to rake in a "respectable" total on the second week. "The target now is some respectable second week collections and that will depend on where it lands on Friday The first five day collections of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi are as follows," the Box Office India report stated.

In his review for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee gave Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi one-and-a-half stars out of five. "Sonakshi does most of the heavy lifting, but the lightness of the film undermines her efforts. The high-on-enthusiasm Jassie Gill, too, is let down by a half-baked character. Jimmy Sheirgill, for once, is unable to rise above the script. Piyush Mishra hams his way through the film," he wrote.
This Friday, two films will hit the screens - Stree and Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phirr Se. With the release of two anticipated films this week, it will be interesting to see whether Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi continues to keep its earnings consistent.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, film also features Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal and Diana Penty.
