The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to exempt upcoming Bollywood movie Hawaizaada from entertainment tax.
The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, an official spokesperson said.
Hawaizaada is directed by Vibhu Puri and features actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda in pivotal roles.
The film is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who is credited to have constructed India's first unmanned plane. The film is scheduled for release on January 30.
