The wedding of the decadehas many scrambling for invites and Oscar winning actressHellen Mirren is among the crowd trying to get into PrinceWilliam and Kate Middleton's grand nuptials.
The actress who is a Dame of the British Empire andalso played the Queen Elizabeth II in her Academy awardwinning role, said that she even tried bribing her way intothe wedding during an appearance on TheJimmy Fallon Show.
"I wasn't invited. I tried bribing people, I eventried finding a way in over the back of the Abbey," said the65-year-old.
"I've even tried to get myself an Archbishop ofCanterbury outfit because I thought I might kidnap him and dothe actual ceremony because I do a lot of these gender-bendingroles," said Mirren.
Discussing getting prints of her hands and feet doneoutside Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Mirren admitted that shedid not like going down on all fours in front of the gatheredpublic.
"When I got my dame of the British Empire, you go toBuckingham Palace. I got Prince Charles, not the Queen, butthere were the Gurkha soldiers, there's a military bandplaying. Everyone's all dressed up and it's all very formal,you learn how to curtsy and it's all very, very formal," saidMirren.
"And now I have my hands and feet down on HollywoodBoulevard and it'll be there forever and this is what you haveto do...," said Mirren who then went down on all fours torecreate her pose prompting laughter from Fallon and theaudience.
