Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are not new to sharing their love for each other on social media. The two are seen walking hand-in-hand at every party in B-town so it was surprising to see Arjun Kapoor not present at Malaika Arora's Christmas party this weekend. However, Arjun Kapoor has now shared an update explaining his absence. The actor is sick in bed and no, it is not Covid. The star shared an image of himself in bed with a reindeer hairband. In the caption, he wrote, “Unwell reindeer this holiday season…” He also assigned the photo courtesy to Malaika Arora and added, “Don't worry it's not COVID.” Replying to the post, Karan Boolani, who is married to Arjun Kapoor's cousin Rhea Kapoor, said, “Would have been a repeat of last year chachu.”
Before that, Malaika Arora had shared images from her Christmas party. In them, she is seen alongside her sister, actress Amrita Arora, and their mom Joyce. In the caption, she wrote, “Merry Christmas #xmasphotodump (We missed you, Arjun Kapoor).” Karisma Kapoor replied to the post saying, “Merry Christmas to all.” Maheep Kapoor replied with heart emojis.
Malaika Arora has been making headlines for her latest reality show Moving In With Malaika. On the show, she discussed her relationship with Arjun Kapoor. When asked by Farah Khan about her plans for the future with Arjun Kapoor, Malaika said, “These are things, which of course, you discuss with your partner. I don't feel insecure. Just because I have been through a divorce or something, I am not bitter. I have a lot to feel and I think I have a better person in a relationship. Whatever choices or decisions I made, I made purely and at the end of the day, this man (referring to boyfriend Arjun Kapoor) in my life makes me happy. Whatever else the world says, whatever they feel, I don't care.”
Speaking about her relationship with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan she said, “We drifted. We were too young. I was very young. I think I also changed. I also wanted different things in life. Somewhere I felt that was missing in my space and I needed to move on. I felt the only way I could do that is if I could actually probably let go of certain ties. I think today we are better people. We love and respect each other for the people that we are. We have a child together. So that is something that will never ever change. But I feel we are far better people. Then, I think we were very irritable. Very irritable people. We became angry, negative people.”
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be seen next in Kuttey with Tabu.
