Hero co-stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut weekend was 'good,' thanks to a Sunday acquitted with honours.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted:
On Sunday, Taran Adarsh had forecast escalated figures for the movie, which made Rs 6.85 crores on its opening day and Rs 6.62 crores on Saturday. (Also Read: Sooraj, Athiya's Hero Scorecard Reads Rs 13 Crores on Day Two)
Reviews of Hero, produced by Salman Khan, have been mostly unimpressed by director Nikhil Advani's remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 original, that starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri in the lead. (Also Read: Sooraj Pancholi Misses Lunch Break, Lovely Moments on Hero Sets)
Hero also stars Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kader Khan, Sooraj's father Aditya Pancholi and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.
