Los Angeles: Game of Thronesdirector Alex Graves has been roped in by Sony Pictures to direct its live-action Mulan movie.
Disney Studios is also making the film, but Sony's take will be based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, the young female warrior who joins the Chinese Imperial Army, taking her ill father's spot, reported .
Sony's version is being designed for the international marketplace.
It'll be co-produced with the Chinese, with a Chinese lead, and will be done through Sony Pictures International Productions.
