The brainy student picked up 19 per cent of the votes,reported Daily Star online.
It was followed by Charlie Bucket (16 per cent), who winsa golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, followedby another Roald Dahl creation, Matilda Wormwood (15 percent).
Sam Wainstein from children's charity Filmclub, whocarried out the poll, said, "Films can have a powerfulinfluence on the way children behave. We hope our list willhelp parents when it comes to choosing films."
