Sajid Khan's Himmatwala reloaded has left critics cold and, now that the box office verdict is out, seems to have left movie-goers likewise unimpressed. Starring Ajay Devgn and South actress Tamannaah Bhatia in her Bollywood debut, Himmatwala is a remake of the 1983 film which featured Jeetendra and Sridevi, and was memorable for the hit song Naino mein sapna. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets: #Himmatwala collected approx Rs 31.1 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup: Fri 12.1 cr, Sat 8.5 cr, Sun 10.5 cr.
He put things into perspective with: In view of the fact that UTV has given #Himmatwala a wide release, the weekend numbers are shockingly low.
