Film actor Anil Kapoor, who is all set for his second Hollywood release Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol, wishes that both Hollywood and Bollywood should come together and work closely.
The actor had made his foray into Hollywood with the Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by Danny Boyle. The film, in which, he played a quizmaster, brought himinternational recognition.
Following the success of Slumdog Millionaire, Anil bagged a role in American TV series 24 and a cameo role in Tom Cruise starrer forthcoming film Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
"I want all great talent from here (Bollywood) to go there and the same way (I want) them to come here. I feel, Hollywood and Bollywood should work closely, hand-in-hand. Both the industries should come together," Anil told reporters.
He was present at the Imax Wadala multiplex with Hollywood icon Tom Cruise, film's leading actress Paula Patton and others, for the screening of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol for the fans.
Tom was on a two-day visit to India to promote his the film in India.
"India is a huge market to promote films... it is a largest place from business point of view also," Anil said.
In the fourth installment of MI (Mission Impossible) series, Anil plays the role of an Indian business tycoon Brij Nath.
The film, directed by Brad Bird, also features Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Paula Patton. It will be released in India on December 16.
Talking about Tom Cruise, Anil says, "He is a down-to-earth person and very humble. One thing I really like about him is that he gives time to his fans."
