Actor Aamir Khan, who is currently shooting for Dangal in Pune, rung in celebrations on the sets of the movie, as soon as he received the news of the birth of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's daughter Adira, reports DNA.
DNA quotes a spokesperson as saying: "Aamir was thrilled on learning about Adira. He immediately got into celebration mode and also treated the crew with sweets."
Aamir and Rani first featured on the silver screen together with 1998 movie Ghulam, and went on to co-star in films like Mann, Mangal Pandey: The Rising and Talaash.
Rani and filmmaker Aditya, who got married in January 2014, had their first daughter on December 9. Bollywood celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana congratulated the couple on Twitter almost immediately. Meanwhile, Aamir will next be seen as a wrestler in Dangal, scheduled to hit screens on Christmas next year.
