Los Angeles:
Singer Adele is reportedly "earning GBP 80,000 a day" despite the fact that she hasn't released an album in four years.
Her music career has taken a backseat as she dedicates her time to her two-year-old son Angelo Adkins, but her bank balance is still looking pretty healthy.
Dailymail.co.uk reports that The Sun has revealed that 26-year-old is apparently taking home GBP 80,000 a day despite not releasing a new album in the last four years. Her two companies earned GBP 54 million in the 22 months up to December 31, 2013, according to newly released accounts.
Her largest company, Melted Stone, netted GBP 30.4 million in the 14 months leading up to April 2013 and a further GBP 8 million in the rest of that year.
Adele paid herself GBP 5.25million dividend in the second part of 2013.
Despite her own success, the singer likes to champion other performers where possible and her last three tweets have been in support of some of her competitors.
