Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, who are waiting for the release of their film Vikram Vedha, have been actively promoting it. During a recent media interaction, Saif Ali Khan spoke about how his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor reacted after pre-viewing his film. Speaking to NDTV, Saif Ali Khan said, "She said she was really happy and thought we were really great. She thought I was really good, the film was really good. She said, 'My god this is a blockbuster.' At the end of the film, she said, 'What a movie.' She said, 'I want to see it again and it's so good, and good luck to you guys.' It's nice because I watch films with very few people and she is someone I do value, she is a really good actor. The fact is that she said she really liked it."
Vikram Vedha, directed by filmmaker duo - Gayatri and Pushkar - is all set to release on 30 September. The film is the official Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name. The film, also directed by Gayatri and Pushkar, starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
The Hindi version of the film stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Meanwhile, actors Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani will also be seen in pivotal roles.
The Hindi version of the film is set in Uttar Pradesh. It is loosely based on the folk tale Vikram Betal.
Vikram Vedha is a cat-and-mouse chase thriller between a gangster and a cop.
