Shilpa Shetty has shared a health update on Instagram. It's been two months since the actress suffered a leg injury while shooting for Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force. For Shilpa Shetty, the healing journey has not been an easy one. But there's one person who motivates her daily to get better quickly and helps the actress cope with “mental agony,” as well as “physical pain.” Yes, we are talking about her daughter Samisha. The little munchkin accompanies her mother on “every physiotherapy session” and boosts Shilpa Shetty's morale with her “smiles, hugs and kisses.” Marking World Mental Health Day, Shilpa Shetty dedicated her Monday Motivation post to Samisha. She also wrote about “broken hearts and spirits” and added that it is in no way “less painful than broken bones.” Shilpa Shetty urged her Instafam to extend help and support to those “struggling for whatever reason.”

Shilpa Shetty wrote, “It's been two months today…Since my injury. Let me tell you honestly, it's not been easy. The mental agony has been as severe as the physical pain. For someone who's a workaholic and a fitness addict like me, these past eight weeks have had its own share of frustration, anger, sadness, and helplessness. But I found a very strong source of motivation to get better as quickly from my daughter.”

The actress added how Samisha is waiting for her to get better soon and “pick her up” again. Shilpa Shetty, who welcomed Samisha via surrogacy in 2020, wrote, “Having Samisha around me for every physiotherapy session. It was only as time passed that I realised how she was waiting eagerly for me to ‘be able to pick her up' again. Those smiles, hugs, little sweet nothings, and kisses were all I needed on some days.”

Shilpa Shetty also highlighted why we should seek help when we can't handle stress all by ourselves. “We all cope with our stressors and pain points differently. If you can't cope with some things on your own, seek help,” she wrote and added: “If you know of someone who is struggling for whatever reason, extend help and support. There couldn't be a more apt day than Mental Health day to discuss this. Broken hearts and spirits aren't any less painful than broken bones. Everyone deserves to heal from them all.”

At the end of her note, Shilpa Shetty also thanked Samisha for helping her recover fast. “Heartfelt gratitude to my doctors Kalpesh Ghelani and Nityanand Chauhan for handholding (literally) and helping me through this process and doing it with so much love. To all my well-wishers for all your prayers and good wishes,” she wrote. Shilpa added hashtags “Swasth raho mast raho,” “World Mental Health Day,” “mental health for all” and “make the world a better place.”

Shilpa Shetty shared the note alongside a video collage featuring her undergoing a physiotherapy session. The clip is winning hearts on the Internet because it features pint-sized Samisha kissing and hugging the actress as she undergoes treatment.

Shilpa Shetty's post has been receiving a whole lot of love on social media. Her sister, actress Shamita Shetty also reacted to it and commented: “Yayyy, am so happy. My munki strongest.”
