Katie Holmes treated Suri Cruise's entire class to healthy pink cupcakes for her birthday.
The former Dawson's Creek star - who split from Suri's father Tom Cruise last June after six years of marriage - splashed out on gluten-free treats from Eleni's New York bakery to help her daughter celebrate her seventh birthday with her 23 classmates at her private school in Manhattan on Thursday (18.04.13).
A source told People.com that each cupcake was topped with pink icing along with nonpareil candies and that "everyone loved them".
Suri was later spotted enjoying a low-key day out with Katie and her maternal grandmother Kathleen in a nearby park.
The little girl also enjoyed an early birthday outing with Tom, 50, a week beforehand in a park in Westchester, New York.
Afterwards he revealed that he picked up her presents and celebrated her birthday early.
He said: "I take care of the kids early. You'll know, you have to plan ahead for these things. It's all done and all celebrated."
Actress Katie, 34, secured full custody of Suri during her divorce from Tom, who has visitation rights.
The Oblivion star has allegedly arranged for Suri to have permanent access to a private jet now that she is seven so that she can visit him more often.
