Hrithik excuses himself from Zayed's film

Hrithik excuses himself from Zayed's film
Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan has walked out of Zayed Khan's home production, after delaying the film for quite some time.

Zayed Khan waited for months for his brother-in-law Hrithik Roshan to allot dates for Welcome To The Jungle, the Khans' home-production. He has now decided to stop waiting.

Apparently, Hrithik has excused himself from his in-laws' film. The jungle adventure toplining Sanjay's son and son-in-law was to be directed by Allah Ke Banday director, Faruk Kabir.

Reliable sources claim the project is as good as dead now. Says a source, "The incident hasn't affected Zayed's relations with Hrithik. But he has now decided not to mix professional and family affairs."

Zayed Khan brushes off speculation with, "No serious thought was given to that script. It was just media hype." No serious thought was given by who? Him? His dad? Or his brother-in-law?

Zayed was recenly seen on screen after a long gap in a cameo in Anjaana Anjaani.

He says that he did the film for producer friend Sajid Nadiadwala, "Beyond my role, I had no clue about the script. I liked my role and I did it without thinking about what it would do for my career."

Adds Faruk Kabir, "I was supposed to direct Welcome To The Jungle for Sanjay Khan saab with Hrithik and Zayed in the lead. We had in fact scripted the film.

It was supposed to be a rugged jungle adventure with plenty of action for both the actors, and a touch of the supernatural a la Manoj Night Shyamalan.

I then got busy with Allah Ke Banday and Hrithik got busy with Kites and Guzaarish. I really don't know where that project stands at the moment."
