Hugh Jackman was attacked by a woman who was determined to marry him

A woman obsessed with Hugh Jackmanattacked the actor with an electric razor in a gym because shedidn't like his whiskers.
Police officers arrested 47-year-old Katherine Thurstonafter she approached the Les Miserables star at his gym andthrew the razor at him, reported New York Daily News.
Thurston told cops she came to New York two months agodetermined to become Jackman's second wife.
"I want to marry him. This is not against the law. It isnot against the law to have two wives," Thurston told NYPDdetective Frank Francisco.
Thurston was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court onmisdemeanour charges of menacing, stalking, harassment andtrespassing. She was also charged with criminal possession ofa weapon - the black electric shaver she went after Jackmanwith.
Jackman, 44, was not injured in the incident at the GothamGym on Washington Street.
"The most important thing is the security of my family. Iam very appreciative of what the DA is doing," he said.Thurston claimed she started emailing Jackman about a yearago. On March 6, Thurston went to the school where Jackman'sseven-year-old daughter, Ava, is enrolled and confronted theactor's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, outside.
"I am going to marry your husband," she told Furness,according to police.
