Hugh Jackman hints at quitting Wolverine
Hugh Jackman has played the role of Wolverine in X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class and The Wolverine.
Los Angeles: Actor Hugh Jackman says hisWolverine character in the upcoming movie has to be verycompelling to do it.

The Prisoners actor, who has been playing the heroicmutant for a decade, shared his thoughts on reprising theiconic role that propelled his name to stardom, reportedAceshowbiz.

"Great parts always outgrow the actors that play them.Ifyou forget that, it's at your own peril. They are working onit [X-Men] now, and it would have to be very compelling for meto do it again. I've been doing it for 10 years," the44-year-old said.

When asked about the idea of switching comic bookcharacters or doing a crossover, he said, "The great thingabout comic books is that they threw Batman in with Wolverineor Spiderman. I have people ask me all the time, 'Do you thinkSpider-Man can beat Wolverine?' It's part of the DNA."

Jackman was at the Spain film festival with directorDenis Villeneuve to promote his new movie Prisoners.

He was also set to receive the Donostia Award for thelifetime achievement at the special screening of the movie onSeptember 27.

"Humbled and honoured by the award. My wife Deborra-LeeFurness won the Silver Shell here in San Sebastian in 1991 forher role in Waiting, so we're going to just call it theJackman-Furness Award if that's alright with you."
